It is reported that the Minister of Public Security, Mr. Tiran Alas, has stated in a statement that if someone takes the law into his hands or supports to create such a situation, the law will be strictly implemented against any such person or organization regardless of rank.
The announcement further states that attention has now been drawn to an irresponsible statement made by a public representative last Sunday in a way that provoked the people in an incident in Vatukara, and all the people including Vatukara are requested not to fall victim to such hateful statements and take legal action.
