It is reported that Central Bank Governor Acharya Nandalal Weerasinghe said yesterday (08) when the Committee on State Finance met that he cannot give a guarantee as to whether the benefits of the 9% Employee Provident Fund can be given after the next four years.
There, a heated situation arose between the Chairman of the Committee on State Finance, Dr. Harsha de Silva and the Member of Parliament, Nimal Lanza.
