It is reported that a student who was studying at the Faculty of Management of Jaffna University committed suicide yesterday (17).
The police said that she hanged herself at her home in Konaville, Kilinochchi.
A 22-year-old girl named Vasantha Kumar Dilaksia has committed suicide.
When the girl was hanging herself, her brother saw her and immediately admitted her to the Kilinochchi hospital.
However, it is reported that she was dead by the time she was admitted to the hospital.
The cause of death has not yet been revealed, and the Kilinochchi Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
