It is reported that a woman has died in an accident caused by the collapse of a house in Minneriya area of Higurakgoda.
The Higurakgoda Police stated that the accident occurred due to the collapse of a wall of the house due to the prevailing rainy weather.
It is said that a 23-year-old mother of one died in the accident, and her husband and one-and-a-half-year-old child were also injured in the accident and admitted to Polonnaruwa Hospital for treatment.
