It is reported that a woman who defrauded an organization of 69 million rupees by pretending to be an employee has been arrested by the Financial Investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department.
A 37-year-old woman resident of Sea Mawatha area, Colombo 11 has been arrested.
This woman has committed this financial fraud by crediting the money owed to the institution to other accounts and the arrested woman is scheduled to be presented to the court.
