It is reported that in a raid conducted by the District Crime Investigation Unit yesterday (09), a young man was arrested with fake currency notes and a printing machine worth 13 lakh rupees.
It is said that the suspect was arrested while preparing to take the printer to a women’s dormitory in the Jaffna Hospital Street area.
It is reported that this suspect is a relative of the person who was recently arrested with fake currency notes in Palai area, and the court ordered that he be remanded until the 23rd.
