It is reported that the body of the 9-year-old child, who went missing after swimming at a port in the Kelani River and grabbed a crocodile, was brought home amidst the sighs of his relatives.

While the grandmother was washing the clothes, Panchi Dishana was swimming nearby with her younger brother, when a crocodile came unexpectedly and grabbed Dishana.
Then the Police Naval Division and the Navy diving officers who came to the place started a search operation for the missing person and the local residents also supported it.
According to that, Disna’s dead body was found in the area downstream of the river about one and a half kilometers from the place where the child went to bathe.
9-year-old Disna, who faced this unfortunate incident, lived in St. Anthony Mawatha area, Welivita, Kaduwela.
