It is reported that the Consumer Service Authority stated that the circulation of fake artificial eggs is incorrect.
They say to consume eggs without instilling fear and not to fall for this fake news, similar to the spread of fake plastic rice.
Also, the Consumer Service Authority has further stated that it is not possible to sell fake artificial eggs in Sri Lanka as well as to use them for food, and if this kind of abuse occurs, complain to the 1977 telephone number.
