It is reported that a dead body of an unknown person was found on the seashore of Palliyawatta, Wattala yesterday (18).
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
The police say that the deceased is a 65 to 70 year old man, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt and gray long pants, with white hair.
The dead body has been deposited in Ragama Hospital and further investigations are being carried out by the Wattala Police.
