ANOTHER SAYS GOODBYE TO ANTIBIOTIC 14TH – SAJITH MOVES NO-CONFIDENCE AGAINST HEALTH MINISTER.

It is reported that a 57-year-old man who developed complications after taking antibiotics at Kegalle Hospital has died.

The person was admitted to the hospital on the 10th due to liver disease.

He was given 13 antibiotics and after the 14th medicine he died due to an allergic reaction.

The hospital authorities say that the 57-year-old man was also given a controversial antibiotic, but there were 19 patients in the hospital who were given the antibiotic that day.

Meanwhile, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya has today (20) brought a motion of no confidence against the Minister of Health, Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella, on the grounds of irresponsibly importing substandard drugs and surgical equipment, weakening the health sector and resulting in deaths.

In the past, a large number of deaths occurred in the hospital system of our country due to the importation and use of inferior and substandard drugs.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya continuously informed the government about it, but they did not care about it, considering it to be an emergency, the drugs were imported outside of the procurement and registration process, and as a result, many major hospitals in the country lost their lives.

Keeping these facts in mind, the motion of no confidence will be signed today and the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa said in the parliament today that if the members of the ruling party who came to the parliament by popular vote have any backbone, they should sign the motion of no confidence.

Likewise, the opposition leader further said that the health of a country is the life of the people and the deterioration of health is a reason for the collapse of the life of the people.
