Public transport on the renovated railway line from Anuradhapura to Omanthe officially started today (13) and it is reported that an M 11 locomotive and air-conditioned luxury modern carriages have been added for its test run.
Minister Bandula Gunawardena has also mentioned that a speed of 100 kilometers per hour can be achieved.
