It is reported that a 24-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of running a fake educational institution in Bambalapitiya has been released on bail.
The suspect was produced before the Aluthkade No. 03 Magistrate’s Court today (05) and was ordered to be released on a surety bond of 5 lakh rupees.
A 24-year-old resident of Narangamuwa area, Giriulla, who worked as the director of the fake educational institution in question, has been arrested.
According to reports, on the 27th of November, based on information received by the officers of the Bambalapitiya Police Station, the relevant educational institution located in the Loris Road area of Bambalapitiya was raided and the suspect was arrested.
