It is reported that the Deputy Manager of the bank was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department who stole a stock of gold worth over 20 million rupees that was kept safe in a state bank in Batticaloa.
It is said that the deputy manager of the bank who was arrested was arrested while he was suspended from work.
