According to the information received by the Welikanda Police yesterday (17), it is reported that several parts of decayed bones and parts of women’s clothes were found in the Welikanda, Kudapukuna reserve.
The police suspect that the pieces of women’s clothes, headscarf and lunch box found at the place where these bones were found belong to a woman who went missing in Welikanda area on 14.11.2019.
Police say they are conducting a scientific examination to identify the bones.
