It is reported that a police constable driver was injured and admitted to Monaragala hospital after a land dispute escalated.
It is said that the police constable’s brother-in-law was attacked with a knife and he has now fled the area.
The person who was assaulted is a police constable driver attached to the Sevanagala Police and further investigations are being carried out by the Wellawaya Police.
