The German cabinet has passed a controversial bill legalizing the use and cultivation of hemp, and foreign media have reported that this decision has been taken in the hope of protecting consumers from contaminated hemp and reducing drug-related crimes.
Accordingly, it is stated that adults in the country have the ability to keep up to 25 grams of drugs, and the opportunity to grow a maximum of three plants is provided.
The foreign media further reports that this constitution limits the amount of cannabis that can be purchased for young people to 30 grams per month, and that purchases can be made to 50 grams for adults.
