Due to the bus accident in Kollupitiya, measures have been taken to temporarily close the duplication route.
Police are advising drivers to use alternative routes.
It is reported that 17 people were injured and taken to hospital when a tree fell on a bus traveling from Colombo to Deniya early this morning (06) near Kollupitiya Liberty Junction.
It is said that the road has been blocked due to this.
