There are reports of minor earthquakes in several parts of the island.
Gomarankadawala, Kirinda and Trincomalee areas have felt this earthquake and the earthquake level was 3 units on the Richter scale and the movement from Kirinda area was 2.6 units, the Bureau of Geology and Survey and Mining has stated.
