It is reported that a 46-year-old father and his 12-year-old daughter, who were visiting the Kumbukkanaruwa Oya, fell into the Kumbukkanaruwa Oya while taking a selfie. The father is a school teacher in the Pongama area.
It is reported that the dead bodies of the two were found in the Paranagama area, which is about 2 kilometers away from the place where they fell into the river.
