It is reported that the flood warning notices issued in connection with 4 rivers have been extended for the next 24 hours.
The Irrigation Department has stated this in a statement.
Accordingly, the flood risk issued for the Ging Ganga, the Kudo Ganga sub-basin, the Atthanagalu Oya and the Nilwala River Basin will remain in effect.
Considering this situation, the Irrigation Department has informed the people to be cautious and especially the drivers who are traveling on side roads to be more careful.
