FORMER LEADER OF PLOT ORGANIZATION SENTENCED TO DEATH.

On April 20, 2000, Dr. Mohammad Sultan Mira Mohideen, Gynecologist and Obstetrician at Vavuniya General Hospital, was shot and killed with a pistol near the gate of the hospital while preparing to return home after completing his duties at Vavuniya General Hospital. He was found guilty of the charge. It is reported that Vavuniya High Court Judge M. Ilanchelian has sentenced S. Nadumaran, the former Vavuniya leader of the Wu Plot organization, to death on the 8th.
