G.E.C. It is reported that yesterday (10) a teacher who had worked in a school in Mullaitivu area for three years was arrested by the officers of the criminal investigation department of the Jaffna Police.
According to reports, he is a person of the Civil Defense Department and has been given an appointment as a volunteer teacher in a school in Mullaitivu after submitting the relevant fake certificates. Also, in the year 2019, in the permanentization of volunteer teachers, he has also received a permanent appointment related to the 3rd class of teaching.
In the examination department for his next promotion in the year 2023, after it was confirmed that the certificates submitted by the concerned teacher were fake, the Northern Provincial Education Department made the complaint to the Crime and Fraud Investigation Division of the Jaffna Police and arrested and interrogated the concerned teacher. Information has been revealed about the person who forged his certificates.
Accordingly, he has also been arrested by the Jaffna Police.
