The railway department says that there has been a disruption in the running of trains on the Udara route.
It is due to the collapse of a mound of earth on the railway line between Diyathalawa and Haputale early today (01).
It is reported that due to this landslide, mounds collapsed with big stones on the railway and the railway is blocked.
The railway control room has also stated that the employees of the railway department and the army officers are taking steps to remove the blockages and carry out the necessary activities for the running of the train.
