It is reported that the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau has taken steps to introduce a new insurance policy for domestic workers in Jordan.
According to that, if the worker in question dies or becomes permanently disabled due to an accident during the employment contract period, the insurance compensation will be provided, and in addition, the same compensation will be provided for receiving medical treatment, surgeries, epidemics and covid.
