It is reported that the officers of the Bribery or Corruption Investigation Commission have arrested the station commander of the anti-corruption unit of the Kandana Police this afternoon (30) while going to take a bribe in the Kandana area.
According to reports, the concerned police officer demanded 100,000 rupees for running a hotel in Kandana area without interference from the police and was arrested while going to get the related amount of 75,000 rupees.
