MORE JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR SRI LANKANS IN JAPAN.

The Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara, has asked I.R.O., an organization that recruits technical trainees in Japan, to arrange for the recruitment of more Sri Lankan youth as technical trainees in Japan.  A special delegation including the director of the institute, Mr. Suga Katsukai, visited the Foreign Employment Bureau today (21) and met with Japan’s I.R.O.  It is reported that a request was made to the director of the institute Mr. Suga Katsukai.

At that time, the delegation gave a good response, and it has been mentioned that the Japanese highly appreciate the technical ability of Sri Lankans and elderly care services.

Also, in December 2021, Japan’s I.R.O.  A memorandum of understanding was signed between the institute and the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, and on this occasion the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau A. A. M. Hilmi, its General Manager D. D. P.  Senanayake, Deputy General Manager (Training and Recruitment) Mr. Senarath Yapa and I.R.O.  It is reported that a group of job seekers who are ready to go to Japan participated in the program.
