PARLIAMENT IS INFORMED OF MAYANTHA’S RESIGNATION.

Today (07) at 9.30 am, the Parliamentary Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene, where the Speaker informed the Parliament about the resignation of Member of Parliament Mayantha Dissanayake from the position of Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee and after the notification, Member of Parliament Mr. Lakshman Kiriella commented. It is reported that a heated situation has arisen between the opposition parties with the announcement.
