It is reported that three police officers who were attacked by wild elephants were injured and admitted to the Trincomalee Hospital for treatment.
A sub-inspector and two other officers working as station commander of Diyaulpatha police post were injured.
These officers were attacked by elephants while traveling in the reserve area.
