According to the information received by the officers of the Matara Crime Division, it is reported that the police have found a cache of weapons in Bandarattawella area of Tihagoda.
A foreign made T56 firearm, a magazine, 10 T56 bullets and 10 drill bullets were found at that place.
It is said that no person has been arrested in connection with the incident and Matara Crime Division and Matara Police are jointly investigating.
