It is reported that former President Maithripala Sirisena said in Parliament today (05) that the grade five scholarship examination should be abolished.
He also mentioned that 99% of the students cried at the end of the last scholarship exam, and both children and parents complained that the question paper was difficult for the children to write.
He further stated that the 5th grade scholarship exam should be abolished as it is in the developed countries of the world.
