The Society of Engineers of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has reportedly entered into several professional actions.
Several other professional actions including non-participation in meetings with the chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, non-participation in tender evaluation committees, started from 8.30 am last 05th.
That is forcing people to be appointed urgently for the two positions of Additional General Manager Western and Additional General Manager Projects, which are currently vacant.
The Engineering Association alleges that the Chairman of the Water Supply Board is working to remove those two positions and replace them with the new appointments of Additional General Manager Audit and Additional General Manager Commercial.
The Union of Engineers of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board has stated that they are ready to take strict professional measures such as working to the letter if they do not respond properly to their union’s request.
