It is reported that Finance Minister Shehan Semasinghe has stated that by the year 2030, 70 percent of the country’s renewable energy needs will be generated.
The Minister stated this while joining the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) forum held in Thailand. Through this forum, suggestions are being made to find solutions to sustainable development challenges.
