It is reported that three suspects have been arrested by the police in the investigations carried out regarding the naked body found yesterday (02) in the 08 post area of the Kaduwela police domain.
The victim was a resident of Gothatuwa area
A 29-year-old man.
Investigations have revealed that a dispute between two parties led to the murder, and that the deceased was abducted and beaten to death in Mulleriya area and left in a three-wheeler in the 08 post area of Kaduwela police domain.
The three suspects involved in the incident have been arrested in Wellampitiya and Angoda areas and it is reported that a stick and a wire used for assault were also found based on the statements made by the suspects.
A three-wheeler and a motorcycle used in the crime have also been taken into police custody.
It is stated that the suspects aged 36, 46 and 47 are residents of Wellampitiya and Angoda areas.
