It is reported that a sudden fire has broken out in Tabbowa reserve in Saliyawewa police domain.
It is said that the fire broke out in the evening of yesterday (16) and the fire was extinguished with the help of Saliyawewa Police, Army and Karuwalagaswewa site officials.
According to the police, around 50 acres of land has been destroyed due to the fire and there are no reports of property damage.
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed and the Saliyawawewa Police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
