Thank you to everyone who supported the journey of rebuilding the broken economy of Sri Lanka – the President says in the annual meeting of the Sri Lanka Trade Union Organization.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe emphasized that without strong financial and human capital, a country cannot lead to rapid economic growth.
The President pointed out that Sri Lanka’s economy should be built in a competitive economy based on exports as well as an economy open to the private sector.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe expressed these views while attending the 36th annual meeting of the Sri Lanka Trade Union Organization held yesterday (09) at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo.
