It is reported that a special gazette notice has been issued stating the powers of the interim cricket committee appointed by the Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe.
According to the sports law number 25 of 1973, the cricket interim committee has been appointed according to the powers assigned to the minister and it has been mentioned that the current cricket governing body has been temporarily suspended accordingly.
