It is reported that the adjournment debate on the “Easter Sunday terrorist attack and current national security” is scheduled to be held today (21) and tomorrow (22).
The debate is scheduled to start today at 9:30 AM under the chairmanship of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
The opposition has filed this adjournment debate on the Easter Sunday attack and current national security.
Member of Parliament Dr. Nalaka Godaheva states that further action should be taken according to the investigations that have been carried out regarding the Easter Sunday attack.
However, Podujana Peramuna Member of Parliament Mr. SM Chandrasena has mentioned that the opposition is engaged in a program to gain political advantages based on the Easter attack incident.
