It is reported that a woman has lost her life after being caught in a fire in Nagolla area of Polpithigama.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that this woman’s clothes caught fire while trying to put out the mana trees nearby when she was burning the garbage in her house.
A 70-year-old woman resident of Galapitamada, Polpathigama area has lost her life.
It is reported that the magisterial inquest and post-mortem are scheduled to be conducted today (05) regarding the dead body.
