It is reported that the Weligama police have arrested a foreign national who entered a hotel in Weligama area and stole money and goods.
A 32-year-old Russian national has been arrested.
It is said that the suspect entered the hotel by breaking the door and stole an amount of 48,500 rupees and property worth about 3 lakhs.
The arrested foreign national suspect is scheduled to be produced in court and the Weligama police have started investigations to find the stolen property.
