It is reported that the Speaker of the House tabled today (02) the proposal to ban Parliamentarians Diana Gamage, Sujith Sanjay and Rohana Bandara from Parliament for a period of one month.
The ban on these three MPs was imposed on the recommendations of the Parliamentary Ethics and Privileges Committee.
But it is reported that a heated situation arose in the Parliament when opposition member Mr. Lakshman Kiriella mentioned that there are some disagreements between those recommendations and the report tabled today (02).
