It is reported that the Ceylon Electricity Board announced that the second generator of the Lakvijaya Power Plant in Norochchole, which was inactive, will be restored to the system at 8:00 pm today (15) after completing the repair work.
On the 8th of last year, the second generator of the Norochchole Coal Plant suddenly broke down due to a technical fault and as a result 270 MW was lost to the national power system.
