It is reported that Badalgama Police has arrested a police sergeant who assaulted his mistress.
A police sergeant attached to the Kirulapana police station has been arrested.
The police say that this mistress, a resident of Badalgama, Katukenda, Vendesiwatta, has been assaulted by the police sergeant on several occasions.
The police sergeant was arrested after conducting investigations based on a complaint made by the woman to the Badalgama police.
