It is reported that a female police sergeant who assaulted her father after a conversation regarding a land dispute went too far has been arrested.
A sergeant attached to the Beruwala police has been arrested on suspicion.
The father made a complaint to the Ahungalla Police that his daughter, who is a police sergeant, had assaulted him, and according to that complaint, the police sergeant called the daughter and the complainant father to the police station and when the complaint was heard, both expressed their unwillingness to reconcile.
