It is reported that due to a technical error in the computer system of the consular section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the document certification services provided through the Trincomalee, Jaffna, Kandy, Matara, Kurunegala Regional Offices of the Ministry of Consular Affairs have been restricted until further notice.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the necessary measures are being taken to restore this system, only essential documents are being prepared by the consular section, and other documents will be prepared after the system is restored.
It is stated that the public has been inconvenienced due to this and regrets it, and several phone numbers have been announced for the public to inquire about the availability of their services. Those phone numbers are below,
