Central Bank Governor Ajith Nandalal told the media yesterday (25) that in consultation with the government and the Ministry of Finance, a long bank holiday from June 29 to July 3 and June 30 as a special bank holiday was announced to complete the domestic debt restructuring process. It is said that the announcement was made while joining a meeting.
He has further stated that during this period, there is no hindrance in withdrawing money from ATM machines and online banking transactions and banking activities done through the internet.
