It is reported that the Hydrology and Disaster Management Division of the Irrigation Department has stated that the water level of the Kalu Ganga is rising again from the Ratnapura area.
At present, the water level of the Kalu Ganga has been recorded up to the level that requires attention in Ratnapura and Allagawa water gauges.
According to that, it is said that the situation of great flood continues in Millakanda area of Kuda Ganga which is a tributary of Kalu Ganga.
Meanwhile, there is a slight flood situation in the Putupaula area of the Kalu Ganga and it is reported that the water level of the Nilwala Ganga is also rising again.
