It is reported that four people were arrested for assaulting two police sergeants who were on duty at the Kahawatta hospital on the 11th.
The Kahawatta Police has mentioned that the two police sergeants were attacked while trying to settle a conflict between two groups who came to the hospital to see the injured people who were hospitalized due to the conflict between the two groups during the music concert held at the Kahawatta local council stadium that day.
The two police sergeants who were assaulted have been admitted to Kahawatta Hospital for treatment and the suspects are scheduled to be produced in court today (13).
