The historical and romantic realistic tear story written about the war written with the immeasurable patience, courage and humanity of women with the strength and self-confidence to correct the world Danuvara Paduma written by lawyer Tikiri Subhashini Wifflerge second and third book on 29.08.2023 from 2.00 pm All arrangements are currently being made to hold the public meeting at the Colombo Public Library Auditorium until 5:00.
The Danuwara Paduma novel or Incidental Narrative Trilogy is written by writer Subhasini Wipfler. She is also a lawyer. Tikiri Subhasini Wipfler, known in writing and social media, is writing her first book from Germany in late 2020 based on her experiences in her Sri Lankan life. The first part of Danuwara Station will be populated in January 2021. The second and third parts are scheduled to be publicized in the public library auditorium on the 29th.
Our attention was drawn to those three stories especially because there is a dearth of books written with real experiences and facts about the ethnic crisis and civil war that lasted for thirty years in Sri Lanka. Or because the few books written are one-sided epics. The real human experience and social trauma of those three decades have not been written in them. Those of us who read the first book, Danuwara Paduuma, had provided previous evidence that the true and genuine story of that book, the social tragedy of that era with social, economic and political facts was being written in the works of Danuwara Paduuma.
In the years 1994-2000, the ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka and the Eelam war were going on. The author recreates the experiences of living in Vavuniya city for several years through a wonderful love story. The love story between a Tamil doctor and a Sinhalese police inspector ended in tragedy due to the political, economic and legal reasons of that time. The author talks about love, the misunderstanding between nations and misuse of law, the misuse of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and therefore a loving couple that breaks up and scatters, as well as all the injustices that existed during the war on the premise of a child in the first book. It can be understood from the posts on social media that they are waiting expectantly.
After a conversation with the writer, we were able to get an idea about the second and third book. The characters of the first book, which ends with sadness, in the second book, their endless efforts to put their broken lives back together and how they leave everything behind and go abroad as refugees, leave behind their careers and present a wealth of unique and difficult life experiences abroad through simple conversations, just like in the first book. Throughout the story, the war in Sri Lanka, its victims and the true experiences of the Tamil community who left the country are marked. The author has tried to contain the sacrifices and patience as well as the upheavals in the lives of the young Tamil community after the Black July of 1983 from a sympathetic and neutral angle, just like in the first book. Based on the period between 2000 and 2007, the foreign experiences related to war abroad are wonderfully illustrated.
The third book is written about the end of the war from 2009 to 2015 and the end of the lives of some people who meet in the first and second parts. The people who are the basis of the events come back in the third book. Love and professional success, misunderstandings and conflicts in family life are all written in the third book.
The first work is written in Sri Lanka, while the second and third works consist of events, secondary characters and secondary stories between Europe and Sri Lanka as well as India. The real experiences of Europe, victories, defeats and breaks in family life, all these are very successfully written in all the three works, the civil war in Sri Lanka lasted for three decades and the spread of its effects to the world with good facts.
In the new story trilogy, the author portrays the immeasurable patience, courage and humanity of the woman, the power to correct the world and the self-confidence like gold, and in the second and third story trilogy, the author gives a clear picture to the reader about the intellectual flow and the cultural needs of the people who have lost their homeland. Give a gift.
All three works play a historical role in the period from 1994 to 2015. It is well understood that the civil war, and the lives of the victims of that war, were reconstructed from the experiences of the author in her life journey from Vavunia to Europe, both domestically and abroad. The author is a political analyst. In creating his works, he subtly integrates politics. In addition, the trilogy of books takes the reader on a wonderful world tour in the themes of loving humanity. The world experiences unfold for the Sri Lankan reader about the war and its victims. The author invites us to see the character of Vaidya Devika, the main character of this trilogy of books, through foreign characters. The ending of this trilogy of stories based on love is a new world.
