It is reported that the prices of vegetables in Peliyagoda Manning market have come down very much.
Mr. HM Upasena, Chairman of Manning General Trading Association, has stated that the wholesale price of vegetables has decreased by 100 rupees, as of yesterday (27), the price of a kilo of beans is 100 rupees, and a kilo of tomatoes is sold at a price between 150 and 180 rupees and 450 rupees. A kilo of carrots sold had reduced to between 70-100 rupees.
