It is reported that the irrigation department stated that the water level of 73 main reservoirs has gone down to 28%.
In this regard, the director of the department’s water management unit, engineer Sudarshanni Vidanapathirana has stated that the water level in the reservoirs has dropped to eight hundred thousand and twenty thousand acre feet.
